THE BONEBEDS: ORIGIN STORY

Created in 2017, I unintentionally began this collection while procrastinating my undergraduate coursework. Pursuing a degree in earth science awarded me the opportunity to study and observe fossils in the field, in the classroom, and in the laboratory. I took this interest and newly discovered skill and used it to help fund activities in my department, to design logos, and to more recently design tattoos. I hope these prints encourages a  curiosity to learn more about how the creatures on our planet lived and evolved before us, and hopefully inspire you learn more about how  to keep them thriving with us.

The purpose of this collection is two-fold: to share the incredible features and diversity of prehistoric animals stretching back to 500 million years before present, and to educate you, fellow visitor and fossil enthusiast, on the current crisis currently facing many  species on the earth today. I encourage you to check out the bios of my prints to learn more about the current issues facing some animals, and to take action towards ensuring their continued survival.

As always, commission is always open, and I am eager to create and display animals you feel should have light brought to, or just animals you think are neat.
